What is...? |
- What is the "VIP Member", "Pouchons Family", "Pouchons Pick" or "Artist Page" icons appearing on some Profiles?
Those icons are the member's special status. Here are some examples:
- VIP Member: DJ at Pouchons.com events, Promoters, Models for Pouchons, Newswriters for Pouchons's Hip-Hop News section.
- Pouchons Family: Close friends and family members of the founder of the website.
- Pouchons Pick: Members who are considered Pouchons (10/10) in the opinion of administrators and moderators. We think they're Pouchons because they look good.
- If you want to have the "Pouchons Pick" Member Status, you need to have a valid Salute. You can contact us and ask our moderators to visit your profile and grant you the "Pouchons Pick" status. Don't forget that's our opinion. If you don't get the status, it doesn't mean you don't look good.
- Artist Page: Real artist page, signed artist.
- If you are a signed artist and want to get the "Artist Page" Member Status, contact us via our contact form and send us proof that you are a signed artist.
- What is a Shout out?
A message to friends, family, etc. lodged on a radio station, web site, or other popular medium.
- What is a hug?
A way of making someone feel all warm and fuzzy inside without being weird about it. Send a hug to someone if you want to send him a friendly sign
- What is a kiss?
A commin way to show affection and express love. Send a kiss to someone if you want to express him a lovely sign.
- What is a props?
Props is short for "propers" as in, "proper recognition". Send a props to someone if you recognize and respect how he thinks, how he looks or what he did and does.
- What is a salute?
A Salute is a picture you take of yourself to verify your identity on the Internet. To make a salute, take a picture of yourself holding up a sign of
some sort on which is written your username and "Pouchons.com". Since anyone can steal your pictures and pose as you, the salute is a good way of making sure that you are in fact the
person shown on the pictures of your profile.
